This man...

Any zombies player, with any shred of self preservation has, at any one point or another, watched a video by the Syndicate Project for helpful tips on how to run the perfect rape train, this guy taught me the rules of being a good zombie player, I still need to get the technique right but I was damn awful until I watched his videos carefully so I knew how I could be a better player.

Playing Call of Duty was always a great enjoyment for me, and when I started playing zombies with friends on Nacth Der Untoten I knew treyarch were onto a stunner, I had no idea they would take the story nearly as far as they have done, what with the first one having no specific characters, no perks, no pack-a-punch or even the notion of element 115. They have turned a fun game type into almost a separate entity, and this could soon be reality, as there have been rumors that in the next Treyarch installment of Call of Duty, the zombies will no longer be a mode on the game, but a full game in it's own right. This could be incredible, if they can expand the story enough to fit an entire game, and still make it as endlessly replayable as it is now. My friend thinks it's a stupid idea and won't work, other people I know aren't interested in zombies, only the multiplayer, but I think with a lot of hard work it may just be Treyarchs saving grace for future CoD titles.

Syndicate is like the Xjawsx opposite, he slaughters zombies but isn't too good at multiplayer whilst jaws rapes multiplayer and sucks at zombies, putting them together in a single game of zombies is a match made in heaven, with jaws ( or Sam) providing a student and Syndicate showing off his skills as a master whilst making you piss yourself laughing at his commentary. If you have any interest in zombies and want to become a better player watch this guys videos, he is amazing for tips on almost every map and can turn a mediocre player into at least a half decent one.

My opinion of Modern Warfare 3

So Modern Warfare 3 is released in four or five months, and I can safely say I am not the only nerd on here that is extremely excited about this game.

Set just hours after the events of Modern Warfare 2, it is the first game In the call of duty series to have four campaigns running simultaneously, in Germany, England, France and America. It will have the same up to date guns as the previous Infinity Ward installment but hopefully with a more balanced multiplayer without being ruled by one single weapon, like the UMP in MW2 or the AK74-U in Black Ops. It also introduces the new Survival mode, their version of zombies, and as we always know when Treyarch do something IW pump it up and make it better. It sees you working in a team of two people against waves of enemies that will slowly become stronger. You earn money for kills, earning more for headshots and using the knife, and the more money you have the better weapons and equipment you can buy, you can also call in AI squads to help you survive. Initial gameplay and screen shots look very promising and I personally cannot wait to be able to blitz my way through the campaign and hopefully the multiplayer as I should have xbox live by then, all in all I think it will be the most anticipated game this year.

Would you believe it, another moral panic

I have just found that, to my dismay, a popular British newspaper is calling for Modern warfare 3 to be banned because it is "promoting the 7/7 bombings". Now which paper would this be, OH of course, surprise surprise it's the Daily Mail, the paper that claims toothpaste and yea can give you cancer in the long term.

It seems that today's media would rather we wrap our children up in cotton wool, whilst they show pictures of the atrocities committed by OUR troops in the protection of our oil supplies every day. If you want to ban every game that even hints at violence what's the point in allowing consoles at all, why do they think if we shoot virtual bullets at virtual people we will instantly become serial killers or as it seems now terrorists, and we will all go on murderous killing sprees. You know what, jog on, I have been playing violent games for two years, and have yet to want to go on a rampage with a little 9 mm handgun an 18 year old has bought me.

Most of us get great enjoyment out of playing violent games, playing Call of Duty actually helps me get rid of my aggression. And if you want to complain about the mental effects of a violent game, a recent study undertaken by a medical university revealed that violent films have exactly the same effect, so your argument is already invalid. Basically ignore anything the daily mail will ever tell you about video games and violence.

Gaming differences

Just watched my good friend Tom play a game of zombies on the classic map Der Reise, and it dawns on me just how good at zombies he actually is. I'm getting quite good at zombies now, very much thanks to watching videos by the best solo zombie player Syndicate, my highest solo round is now 19 compared to 9, and I'm really starting to learn how to control the zombies, but tom is just in a different league, he controls them so well, knows when to run and when to just move to the side so he can group them.
He played with three other people none of them bought perks, and generally sucked, whilst Tom decimated all just running and gunning, on zombies that's bloody impressive, as he didn't rape train. I hope to get as skilled as him, maybe even better some time soon.
